Whenever I try to disable my network on my laptop, I get the error:

"It isn't possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection
may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-And-Play"

Any ideas?

I'm not sure what that means but try and disable it in the BIOS. I'm
assuming it's built in. If it's not just unplug it.

I have seen that before.. what I noticed was that when I
only had one nic installed it would not allow me to
disable it.... workaround i did was that i installed
Microsofts LOOPBACK nic from hardware install... manually
installed the LOOPBACK and then once it was active, i
disabled the other nic... good luck..
