Can't delete Japanese URL's from IE 6 English edition

I have Windows 98 2nd Edition and run an English system.
I also have a Microsoft plug-in (?) that allows me to see
Japanese web pages in and surf Japanese sites and read the
language.

What's odd is that when I clear history it will remove all
the English URL's from the the location/address drop down
bar but not any of the Japanese URL's.

I've explored every bit of help I could find on here and
haven't read anything about this one.

If you have an idea that might work, please help!

Remove the index completely. It may be corrupt or the Unicode characters are
not being seen correctly by the software removal tool.
