I copy a CD (which I created) to my desktop. The CD was highly structured
(lots of folders and long filenames) and now I can delete the folder from my
desktop.
The problem is caused by a single file which is buried in the last folder.
The file is physically there (well, I can see it) but I can't delete it.
When I try, nothing happens. If I try to open the file (it's a Word file)
then Word opens - but nothing else happens - just a grey screen.
Does anyone know what's happened? Is the file actually there? Has the filing
system lost track of this file?
How can I cure this problem?
Cheers.
