Using Windows XP-Pro and a Sony digital camera.
I am able to copy pictures from my digital camera into My Pictures
subfolders on my hard drive and display and view them without any problem.
When I try to copy a group of photos from my hard drive onto a USB(1) key
drive, certain pictures corrupt the process. They will not copy and will
lock up the system which will then not even complete the shut down process.
I must hold in the power button until the system does a hard shut down.
When I reboot, and try to copy even just one picture at a time, there is
always one in the bunch that corrupts the process and I have to go through
the hard shut down procedure again. There doesn't seem to be any
identifiable difference among my pictures.
Any ideas?????
