cant connect xp home with a xp pro and mac os x WIRELESSLY

got a new comp that cant connect via wireless to another one with xp
pro or my mac. the router is a belkin, the xp home uses a linksis
wireless g adapter, the xp pro comp is hard wired to the router, any
suggestions?
 
1) can your new computer see it has a valid internet connectio ? If so that
means the wireless adapter and router are operational.
2) to see each other easily, the computers need two additional things : (i)
they need to be part of the same WORKGROUP and given one is XP Home, the XP
Pro system should NOT be specifying that it is patr of a domain, and (ii) you
need folder and printer sharing turned on for both computers if they are to
have anything to see that is visible on the other computer - that is to say,
share your "shared folder" across the network - that way you can swap files
by dropping in each others shared folders without having to share every
folder on your systems...
