Can't connect to internet vial DSL through VPN

After installing and connecting to Cisco VPN Client, I am
unable to access any website via internet explorer. As
soon as I disconnect VPN, I can then access any website
again over my DSL connection. Any suggestions on what
would be causing this or what settings may need to be
changed? Thanks.

I forgot to mention that I'm running WINXP Pro.
