I have a computer at home and one at my office. I use
both to connect to a Web host where I have my web site.
Until now the host has been running W2K servers.
Recently, they changed their location and upgraded their
equipment and OS to Windows Server 2003. We are
responsible for moving our sites ourselves. I downloaded
the site to my local drive. I've been able to connect to
the new site with FP2002, or Cute FTP from my home.
However when I try to connect from my office, I get a
variety of error messages.
Cute FTP: When connecting to 'xxx.com' with a user name
and password entered, I am still prompted for user name
and password. I enter the user name, (xxx) which is
accepted, and then I am prompted for the password (xxx).
The password is rejected and the connection is closed.
Trying to log on to the ftp, I enter the ftp name,
ftp.xxx.com and then the user name (xxx), then the
password from the e-mail I received, (xxx). It tries to
connect but the connection fails.
FrontPage: when trying to connect to http://xxx.com with
FrontPage, I enter the site address and click open.
Before it will connect I get error messages:
Add a Network Connection: another error message..

It's strange, connecting to the old site from my office
is business as usual, no problems.
But I just can't connect to the new site. I thought it
might be a network problem, but if that was the case, I
would probably not be able to connect to either site. Do
the setting for the new server have something to do with
this.
Thanks very much.
