I have several pst files I am using with Outlook 2002 (latest updates
installed)
One of the files is not listed in the control panel "email", but is opening
when Outlook is started. I have tried to close it from inside of outlook and
get a message that states ""The operation failed. An object could not be
found" I also get the same message when I go to properties, advance.

the file is 1.50 GB (1,612,596,224 bytes), so it is below the 1.8g barrier.

Thanks,
Mc

You have a corrupt mail profile. You'll need to create a new one.
