I have several POP3 email accounts and of course one default

whenever I send new messages it uses this account no problem

however, whenever I reply to a message, even when it is addressed to my
default account, it uses the old default account, which is different

this means I have to change the account to my default every time I reply to
a message

I can't find anywhere that changes this

I don't know what you mean by "old" default account. In any case, Outlook
should try to use the account that the origional message arrived on.

I agree, it should send back to the account it's sent to but it doesn't

by 'old' default account I mean that the one that Outlook keeps using to
return mail was the original default when I set it all up

I don't know if that has any bearing on the problem
