Can't change name or attribute of fields

Icreated a new table. It named the first field ID. Online help gave no
answer to my search for changing a name. I want it TopicID, I don't want it
the primary key, but a long integer, a foreign key, which along with the next
field, a url, would be the primary key. No online help in naming or setting
the type of a field. No information on whether I can make a field an active
link. This is a horror story. Can I uninstall access 2007 and go back to
access 2003?

Furthermore, the first Microsoft books available in Israel won't be
available until after Passover, about a week and a half. I couldn't even
find the datatypes supported.

Thanks, but the database opened read only. I am the only user and have
administrative privileges. My laptop has access 2003 and has no such
problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Karl.

I'm trying to select the long integer and the text field as the primary keys.
Here are the instructions.

Select the field or fields you want to use as the primary key.
To select one field, click the row selector for the field you want.

To select more than one field, hold down CTRL and then click the row
selector for each field.

On the Design tab, in the Tools group, click Primary Key.

A key indicator is added to the left of the field or fields that you specify
as the primary key.

I simply couldn't find the primary key under tools group or figure how to
selecct fields.

After I saved a copy it was no longer read only. Now I'm trying to go
through your steps.
The choice of numbers doesn't include long integer
