help HELP. first the moniter died, then I had to do a
factory reload, Then my internet surfing went down the
toliet. I tried to get the computer up in safe mode to
run a anti virus program.no luck there. then it wouldnt
boot up at all. I put in the system restore disk to do a
complete restore again and it wont let me in a all
because I need a non existent password to open and
boot.Staples where I bought the thing hasen"t had any
free time to help me. Very busy? Microsoft keeps
connecting me to northgate who doesnt answer my emails or
phone messages. Im almost getting desparate enough to pay
19.95 to tech support for help with a product I've only
used a month and had nothing but trouble with.there has
to be an answer to this problem. I'm not making ANY money
this way.Liz

Liz;
Have you tried leaving the password blank?

If Windows came preinstalled on your computer, check your manual
and/or contact the manufacture for recovery procedures.
All manufacturers it a little differently and the recovery procedure
is not a Microsoft setting.
That is probably Microsoft can not help.

Usually just booting to the recovery CD starts the process.
