can't boot in any mode

This stupid computer keep haveing problems not mine just
the wifes. Yesterday it was working fine and this morring
when she turned it on it stoped about 2/3 through start
up and went to a blue screen that said stop error
0x0000007b,0x827d0330,0xc0000032,0x00000000,0x00000000.
can any one help I know that the first one is boot device
can not be found and something to do with a virus it has
all the latest antivirus softwear and is all up to
date . Please can any one help

Yes you may have a virus. You would have to boot up with a AV floppy to
scan since you can't get into Windows. You also could either have file
system corruption or a hard drive failure. You want to boot from the
Windows 2000 CD into Recovery Console. There run chkdsk /r. If should
fix the file system problem. If it is a physical drive problem chkdsk
will either report there are bad cluster on the drive or it will report
that there are unrecoverable errors.
