Everytime I try to boot the computer, it locks up after trying and I get a FAT32 message. What can I do to fix this. This is an emergency!!!! I have a project due TODAY!

Hi

Try continually pressing F5 or F8 after a reboot until you get to a screen
that gives an option of 'Last Known Good Configuration' - try that to see if
you can then boot into Windows normally. If that doesn't help reboot -
again using F5 or F8 - back to the same screen and enter Safe Mode to try a
System Restore back to a point before the problem started.

Have you tried booting in safe mode (pressing F8 repeatedly while it
boots)?

Try running the XP recovery console from the XP CDROM. Do a CHKDSK with the
/R option on the partition that contains the operating system, which is
probably called "C:". Take its defaults if it finds errors and asks you
about fixing them.
