I am using Access 2003
I created a small table with an "autonumber" field, machine # and Operation#
fields. I want to be able to add the mach and Oper #'s and have the
autonumber automatically assign the next number. I created the table and it
worked when I entered information directly into it. It did what I wanted it
to do.
So then I created a form from just this table (made a query for the table).
But I can not add a new record. The ones I added directly to the table are
there, but it won't let me add a new record. I tried to create the form
adding the information directly to the table without a query, but it still
did not work. What am I missing? I have never had this problem before
whenever I have created a form. I tried checking the properties of the form
to see if some thing was off when it should have been on, but I did not see
anything that appeared to me that it would affect this. Can anyone help me,
please?
