cant activation of windows

i installed windows on my computer after i formated the C drive , and i have
activated windows normally , but this time ,its giving me a note that the
activation code (product key is invalid), what can i do to activate windows ,
its legal , and i didnt give the key to any one , so why is this happening .
plz if any one can help (am not a computer expert soo , i appreciate help)

maybe someone got ahold of your cd-key and put it on the net. if that is the
case, you will need to purchase a new licence

Use the phone activation method.

umm, if this is the case , then i need the activation code , and the problem
is am in palestine , and i cant do it by phone . also the legal copies with
the licence isnt available here. soo....

I cannot give you a "technical answer". I believe I can give
you an answer that works. If you have access to this group,
you may also have access to Ebay.com

Do what I did. I went on Ebay, typed XP Pro / Home into the
search engine.

You'll find 50 - 500 copies of XP on sale / up for bid. Look
for a copy that says "needs no activation". They're
available. I have one. If your computer is relatively
"generic" (someone else may wish to jump in here and
explain), you may be able to run the generic XP. I found a
"Buy It Now" copy for under $60, and it is real!


How do I know it's "real"? You have to go online and
"validate" your copy to download certain downloads/updates.

I have validated my copy and downloaded with no problem
whatever.

I worked in a "Computer Lab" in my apartment complex for
about a year, and helped set it up. The guy who actually
supervised the lab went out and bought 2 brand new 2 Ghz
Dell computers and got XP Pro with them. He installed the
OS with no problem, and validated it. Never "activated it."
The activation was not required.



So if you can go on Ebay, and order the product, I'd advise
you to do so.

The purchase IS guaranteed. (software sellers must buy
insurance on their sales).
