Can't Access Secure Web Site

Lately, I cannot access certain secure web sites. Sign-
In/Log-In buttons are missing on the web pages. When
logging into the site with sign-in button displayed, a
blank page appeared. The same happened when I tried to
access the Microsoft Update site.

Any ideal what cause this.

Thanks in advance for suggestions / advices.
