canon digi camera

Paul Mars

worked the first few times I plugged into the computer to transfer the pics,
but now every time I plug it in, it asks for the canon install disk, before
I can see the pics in win exp. Ideas?

Hi-
I don't want to seem too flip about your problem, but it is not uncommon to
have cameras not get along with computers, and there is a very simple
hardware solution: a card reader. Just handle your card gently, and insert
it the right way, and you will have very fast downloads, with no nonsense.
Card readers (USB 2.0) can be had for $15 or sometimes less.

Give it the Canon install disk.
 
buy 1 that can read several types of camera disks so u can
use it 4 new cameras. You can mix data with pics 2! Mine was
$5 on sale CompUSA

the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)
