Canon camera and IEEE 1394

I'm desparately trying to install my camera on windows xp,
and i am getting a IEEE 1394 new hardware message. I
can't seem to find a driver for it. Before, when i had
Wind 98, I didn't have this problem. Any suggestions on

Go to www.canon.com and find support. Enter your model number and look
for a driver, or look in the user manual and see if the camera requires
an OHCI compliant IEEE adapter. Check you device manager and see of
your actual adapter is OHCI compliant. If not, then you will have to
purchase an OHCI compliant IEEE interface card.
