Cannot verify update.inf msg when running patch

I am trying to install the security patch for Blaster and
I receive the message that it cannot verify update.inf and
I should be sure that the cryptograph secrvice is running
and setup exits. I verified that the service is running. I
not sure what to do next.

Here's something to try for the cryptographic message:
Go to Start
RUN
[type]
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
[enter]
