cannot veiw shared video from another pc

I have a film in xvid format that I have put into the shared video folder
from my main pc however I cannot view it from my laptop only get the sound,
what am I missing?

I can view the movie from my main PC and I have WM 11 on both machines, do I
need a codec or something?
