I use Home Premium Vista and I have all the updates, but when I get a zipped
attachment I cannot open it. Any ideas? Thanks!

If I remember correctly, Vista includes a program to do this but it
doesn't work very well. You may want to download and install the
program I'm using for this now, ZipGenius 6:

Can you open it if you save it to your Documents folder?

What happens when you save the file to the hard drive and then open it? Also, post the the exact error message (if any) as seen on the screen.

Frank / Ramesh:
What is happening is that unzipping is defaulting to the Photograph Gallery
and even if I try Open with, I am not given the options to use word, not
power point.
So basically, it says that it does not have the program to open those files.
To make things worse, as I clicked on the notification to land back on this
page, nothing is displayed on my screen. It seems to be bloquing contents. I
guess some update changed all my parameters....!

You can download and apply the .zip file association fix from here:
