Cannot startup Outlook 2003

The message tells me the "Microsoft Exchange server is unavailable"
then it gives me the option to "Retry", "Workoffline", or "Cancel"

Retrying doesn't do anything and if choose "Work offline" it tells me
"Unable to open you e-mail default folders. Your profile is not configured".

Sounds like you set it up wrong if you are not on a MS Exchange Server.
Uninstall Outlook and reinstall it. This time don't pick Exchange Server. Get
the exact account server settings for your POP mail from your email provider.
You cannot use Outlook for free web based mail like NetZero, Yahoo, Hotmail,
etc.
