I realised that I cannot send/receive mail. All of my email settings are
correct (same email account settings I used with Outlook Express, and
it worked fine), and if I actually click the button for "Send/Receive"
this is the error given:
*The operation failed. An object could not be found.*
Also, when I try to run a the "Test Account Settings" feature, it works
perfectly find - it says that all parts of the test were completed.
However, I get a prompt a few seconds later saying that the test email
could not be sent.
I recently installed Outlook 2003 and I was asked if I wanted to
upgrade the Outlook Express that existed on my computer. Since I
thought that might have been the problem, I tried uninstalling Outlook
2003, and reinstalling it again, hoping that this time, it would ask me
if I wanted to upgrade Express again.
However, this time, it did not. Instead, Outlook 2003 was installed
once again and everything remained the same - my folders and email were
all intact, as were my contacts and account information.
I am currently using *Win XP*, if that helps.
Please help. Thanks!
