I have been using windows mail since april 07 and have not had any problems
with until now it will not let me send any emails, I have three accounts that
i currently use these are (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed), This is very annoying. Why is this happening.
Why have they changed it without letting me know.

The following message is the same for all three accounts

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'testing', Account:
'Reggies PC Repair', Server: 'mail.reggiespcrepair.com', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Many email providers block connections for outgoing mail on port 25, if the
connection crosses over from one internet provider's equipment to another's
on the way to the server, as a way to cause trouble for spammers. A few
also do this for connections using other ports. You may need to ask your
internet provider and all your email providers if they do this for port 587.

Also, some antivirus programs and antispyware programs tend to cause
various problems in Windows Mail, although this often takes months to
happen. What if any such programs do you have?

If you have the Google Toolbar installed, uninstall it, since it causes
problems in Windows Mail.

First of all, reggiespcrepair.com is not an ISP, it is a hosted domain.

Are you sure that mail.reggiespcrepair.com uses port 587? Most
hosted accounts only offer SMTP on port 25.

To avoid problems with using SMTP servers on hosted domains,
it is best to substitute your ISP's SMTP server.

P.S. Do not post complete email addresses in a newsgroup like this
because spammers will harvest those addresses.
