A Laptop is configured with Outlook 2002 to connect to
Exchange with 2 profiles. One online and one offline for
out of the office. When offline, the user writes a new
email, and clicks Send/Receive, then gets a NDR with the
following text "None of your e-mail accounts could send
to this recipient." The offline location is configured
with Exchange set to work offline. The user dials to the
net and then establishes a VPN into the office. If you
dial up and connect the VPN, you can open Outlook in
the "in Office" profile, and it connects to Exchange OK
(although fairly slow). But if you close Outlook and re-
open in "Out of Office" profile, it will connect to
receive mail but will not send. There are a number of
other laptops in the office configured the same, but they
work.

Any ideas?

Just curious - I'm not sure why there are two profiles - why not just one,
with a prompt for connect/work offline?

If this user has Internet mail and Exchange in the same profile, funky
things can happen, although this is less true in OL2002 than in previous
versions. I personally like keeping things simple, so I'd keep Internet mail
out of the picture and go only with Exchange in the profile.
