Hi there,
I have upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. Ever since I upgraded I
cannot send any messages. I have verified that all my settings are correct
because I can use the test settings feature and I get the message. I am
running Windows XP Professional. Has anyone run into this before and can
anyone help me resolve this problem. Thanks.

Chances are you're not properly authenticating to your outgoing server.
It's on the Advanced tab of your account properties.

I have tried that and I still cannot send. I don't know why I can send using
the test settings and not send normally. By being able to send the test
message doesn't it mean that my settings are okay?

Any error messages? Anything in the Event Log? If you enable message
logging, is there anything in those logs?

Not always. There is a portion of the complete path that may not be tested.
