When trying to send out a new message or respond to a received message, I get
the following error message: "Outlook failed to start correctly last time".
This just started recently, otherwise I have had no problem with Windows
Mail. I've tried removing MS Outlook, to no avail. Since when does Outlook
have to start to get Windows Mail to work?

Hi, first thing to try is to ensure that WM is set as the Default mail
client..

Close WM.

Go to default programs, either from the start menu or in Control
Panel>Set your default programs>wait for the list of programs to
populate>select Windows Mail and ensure that it is set as default for all
its protocols

Also while in the Default Programs, click on "Set program
access and computer defaults." Select Custom, and
then select Windows Mail & Click OK.
