Cannot Select .jpg as Desktop

Hi

I'm running WinXP Home with all critical and driver updates up to today
(includes latest Nvidia drivers downloaded from MS).

When I go to change the desktop I can only see the .bmp images and Stonehenge
(the one I'm using). If I change to one of the .bmp screens even Stonehenge
disappears.

I've seen MS KB Article 313596 and my Shell.dll is at version 6.00.2800.1233
(xpsp2.030604-1804).

Can anyone help?

Is your themes service running? Also, using JPGs also requires Active
Desktop. This is the default for XP's desktop but can be disabled in
Administrative Tools (XP Pro only or addons for XP Home). With Active
Desktop disabled, only BMPs will list as wallpapers.

Thanks very much for that. My themes service was running but I had "Allow Web
content to be added to the desktop" unchecked in TweakUI.
