Cannot Say Enough Good Things About MSN Search (Beta) Engine

There has been a lot of critical commentary on Microsoft's new search
engine http://beta.search.msn.com/default.aspx?FORM=HPRE, but FSS
(http://freespeechstore.com) is more than pleased with our testing!
Coming in second is http://www.webcrawler.com/info.wbcrwl/, third
http://www.alexa.com/, fourth http://search.yahoo.com/ and fifth
http://www.google.com/

Here is a prime example...

Search.... nanae punks...

http://beta.search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=nanae+punks&FORM=QBHP

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=nanae+punks&btnG=Google+Search

MSN is constantly crawling and posting instantaneously to their
engine, whereas the others sometimes take weeks, if ever! Just look
at the difference in the numbers (hits) for the above example.

Anyone who comes in one Page 1 or Top 5 for their term will be happy
with _whatever_ SE that they come in that position on. Be it MSN or
Yahoo or Google or all three. *shrug* I rank on Page 1 at Yahoo for
some things that I don't rank well for on Google for - this doesn't
mean I think Yahoo is the better of the two; just a different
algorithem used that may be slightly better or slightly flawed in
comparison to Google's.

However MSN is still working on their algorithem - so what you see now
may not be what you see in a couple weeks or when they finally unveil
the live-nonbeta version to the public.

For example, right now you come in #2 or #3 ... but what, when it goes
live, you see that your site is coming in #200 or #150 for those same
search terms? Will you still be "more than pleased" with the MSN
Search?
MSN is constantly crawling and posting instantaneously to their
engine, whereas the others sometimes take weeks, if ever! Just look
at the difference in the numbers (hits) for the above example.

And just recall the difference in numbers of people who tried, in the
past, to even bother ranking well on MSN's Search and how many tried
every trick, even underhanded ones, in the book to rank well on
Google.

Also recall that MSN has a small amount of sites or pages right now in
comparison to Yahoo or Google also. Some people are already citing
where MSN's bot has spidered their whole site but the whole site's set
of pages apparently not indexed on MSN for the search.

And I wonder how some businesses or informational sites will like MSN
considering age of site PLUS BBB thoughts. Therefore a hint they are
going to favor older business sites with a better track record [fewer
customer complaints]? Unsure about that one - msndude only mentioned
it in passing in a long post shared at WebMasterWorld.

That's funny...they can't be any good as they don't list you as the
spammer you are.
