Cannot 'save as' to network drive

I have two XP clients and one W'98 client which access files on a fourth (W'9
machine, they are able to open, modify and save existing documents to the
network drive, however they are unable to 'save as' a new document or re name
an existing document. This one is causing a huge amount of frustration, any
help would be great. Many thanks in advance
 
Has anyone found a solution to this? I'm having the same problem as well
with a similar setup.

The solution for this problem is in KB895900. Security update (KB885250)
for Windows XP done in February is what is causing the problem. There is a
hotfix out, but you have to call Microsoft for it, or you can delete update
KB885250 from the add/remove programs in the control panel.
