cannot remove program

I am trying to install a photo editing program, that quit
responding during installation. I uninstalled it, but
now when I reinstall it i get a message that I already
have it. In the add/remove programs it is listed, but I
cannot remove it. Says it is corrupted. What can I do???
 
It will not let me reinstall it!

This problem occurs if some parts of the program are not uninstalled
properly. Reinstall the program and one again uninstall it but this time
from the Add/Remove programs and not from the uninstaller provided by them.
Restart the system after this
