cannot remove hidden folder

I have a hidden folder "c:\rrubackups" that I did not create and Spysweeper
suspects that it contains rootware. I've double checked and none of my valid
applications created this folder. When I open windows explore and select
properties the hidded folder is checked and grayed out. How do I remove this
folder and contents.
 
See if you can reboot into Safe Mode With Command Promp then navigate
to the folder and delete it, you may have to run attrib
EG: attrib -r -s -h <foldername>
