CANNOT RECEIVE ATTACHMENTS

I m using Office Outlook 2002 and cannot receive any
attachements. It gives the following error message:

OE has removed the potentially/following unsafe
attachment.

I dont understand why.

Which ARE you using? Outlook or Outlook EXPRESS?

Repost to newsgroups about Outlook Express. This newsgroup is for
Outlook.

For OE, it's an option. Go look.

For Outlook, there are Microsoft KB articles (see
http://support.microsoft.com) on how to permit certain filetypes as
attachments. For example, a search there will return
http://snipurl.com/ol_attachments (the Microsoft URL is way too long).
You can also get utilities to help. I use the AttachmentOptions utility
found at www.slipstick.com.
