Cannot read Attachments

I am currently using outlook express, i have a problem
when someone sends me an attachment.

the paperclip on the right hand corner shows up but when
i click on it the attachment won't show,
the writing is in a grey colour almost like it is not
there.

i think this is a setting that needs to be changed, i
have looked around but i really have no idea, can anyone
suggest any ideas?

Tools/Options/security tab, 4th box, uncheck. You will now
have access to attachments and attachments with viruses will
have access to your computer, be careful
