Cannot play back file. The file is not supported.

Cannot Play Back File. The File is Not Supported. error
80040265. In Windows XP when I try to play a .cda file,or
any sound file,this error message comes up, but it will
play the same file on the CD but when I transfer the file
anywhere on my hard drive it won't play. Any Help?

You need to Rip the CD track onto the HD where it will be stored as a wave
or mp3 file. Simply copying it or transfering it as a cda file won't work.

Use AudioGrabber or CDEx to do this.
