Is TCP/IP setup properly on the problem PC?

Does ipconfig /all from a command prompt give apppropriate info for your
network?

we have all computers on LAN individually connected to DSL server. there is
no server in our LAN, no router. i can ping DNS from all computers but one.
all machines can share files and LAN is connected on all. but one cannot
access the web or ping DNS. hope this answers

im not sure if the info is appropriate. but as far as i can tell it is. but
the dns server has more numbers than the other machines

The DNS info should be identical to the other PCs. Are you using DHCP,
or is the IP address and DNS server info set statically on each PC? If
static, then change the DNS server IP address(es) on the problem PC so
it matches the others.
