Cannot open tables in Access 2002

My MS Access was working fine.

But now the tables cannot be opened in access. When i try
to open it, a dialog box appears with a message unknown.

I have tried to repair my office installation. but still
i get the same problem. also i am not able to update my
office XP Service Pack 3.

I tried searching on the web for a possible solution, but
couldnt find out.

can some one help me with this.

I am feeling your pain, but with office 2003. Anybody
have an answer???
