Hi all

I have been using a database I have created for over a year now.
have the database split up so i have a .Be. I did this for obviou
reasons but also I transfer the .be file on a weekly basis from th
business computer to my office computer without incdient unti
today

I go to open the file (which has a password) and the switchboar
should come up but now i get the following error

Your Microsof
Access database or project contain a missing or broken reference t
the file "DA0350.DLL version 5.0

I hit yes and Visual basic comes up. I have no idea what is wrong. Th
file open fine at the business location. Now I can go and hit FILE an
open the file via the shortcut down on the bottom of the drop dow
menu near the close. I can then use the database. I cannot bring u
the switchboard at all. Get error or nothing happens. Anothe
problem happens:I go to use the database utilities and I cannot us
the link table manager, database splitter, switchboard manager or th
upsizing wixard. I get the following error when I attempt to us
those

[color=red:3b54059853][/color:3b54059853] Active
compoent can't create object

NOTE: this erroe comes up regardless of any database I open up. I use
the sample database that comes with the MSACCESS and I still get tha
ActiveX error

I have another issue but I will wait until this is fixed

I noticed the version of my home computer was sp 3 and the busines
computers are not sp 3 patch

I did uninstall access on my office computer (the one that has issue
with the files) and reinstalled. No success

I think their is something internally wrong with my office Acces
because the access program seems 'broken' regardless of the databas
I attempt to open. I hope this is clear if not please contact me vi
forum or my email address (e-mail address removed)
