I have spent all day and still cannot get my emails (in several folders) from
my old computer to my new computer. I have done everything instructed
(saving the email file on old computer, transferring to new computer via
Intellimover since it is too large for a CD and old computer does not have a
DVD writer and I cannot email the file even with cable internet as I get an
"operation failed" message when I try to attach the .pst file to an email to
send to new computer). With Intellimover (USB connection) the smallest
folder I can select to transfer is "My Documents" and I did save the .pst
file deep in that folder. The .pst file does show up on my new computer but
when I go through the steps to open it in my Outlook emails they simply are
not there. I am following the instructions but they do not open up in the
new computer email files.

Close Outlook. Make a copy of the PST and name it .psx or .psu or .ps_.
Then mail that.

Was Outlook on the old computer open at the time you copied the My Documents
folder? What does the Inbox Repair Tool have to say about the PST?

I closed Outlook on old computer, copied the .pst file and renamed it .psx
but still could not email it. It is likely due to the size (938,000KB)
perhaps?
So I went to the original .pst file that I moved (via Intellimover) to new
computer a few days ago. I found the Inbox repair tool and copied the
directions and closed Outlook on new computer and ran the Inbox repair tool.
There were some errors and I ran the repair. Then I opened Outlook on new
computer and no still my emails from old computer do not show up there.
The .pst files on old and new computer are the same size but the emails
simply do show up in new computer.
What could the problem be?

Somhow the process you used to copy the PST corrupted it. Were I you, I'd
try again with something other than Intellimover.
