Cannot open new window - "No such interface supported"

I am unable to open a new Internet Explorer window. I
receive the following error:

"No Such Inteface Enabled"

The offending code is a window.open call in a javascript
block.

I have re-installed IE, and re-installed (via upgrade)
Windows XP Pro.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
