Cannot Open multiple Internet explorers

I cannot open multiple web browsers. Everytime I click to
open a new browser it brings me back to my home page. I
have tried going into tools, internet options, and
clicking on the advanced tab and unckecking reuse window
for launching shortcuts. This does not work. Anyone have
any suggestions. Thanks!

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
