Cannot open multiple browser wndows

I used to be able to CNTRl + N in IE to open multiple browser windows. For
some reason, it doesn't work any more. Help! Is there a solution provider
out there?

Check in IE | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced that there is no tic
mark in the Browsing section for the option " Reuse windows for
launching shortcuts".
