I have one folder which contains many files but but whenever I try to open
it, I get the message "Access Denied". The properties show that the folder
has 0 bytes while I am sure that it has many files and when I ran the
defgarmenter, it of course moved some of the files held in this folder. I was
told to take ownership of the folder but there is no such tab on the
properties which can help me do so. I am administrator using XP Pro. I am
much confused as there was some important stuff in that folder.
Thanks in advance...

When you tried to take ownership of the folder were you in Safe Mode?
