I'm running Access 2003 on a 2000 network. I have several Access 2003 database shared on the network. This configuration has been in place for about a year now, but just recently, one client on the network cannot open the Access databases. the application opens, but just before I am prompted for a username and password I get an error. "Cannot open a database with a previous version of your application." I've tried to repair the app. but that didn't work.

Access2003 defaults to using Access2000 format for databases - but
there IS an Access2003 format, which Access2000 cannot read. Try
opening the database from 2003 - does it say "Access2003 Format" at
the top of the screen? If so, use Tools... Convert... Convert to
Previous Version to save it in a format that A2000 can read.
