I have Outlook 2000 running as a simple POP3 and IMAP
mail system on my laptop, no exchange server. I reached
the 2 gig limit yesterday. This happened to me before in
Outlook 97, thought it was fixed in 2000 - rude
surprise. In any case I truncated the file and then ran
the repair untility as before (SCANPST 1.5.1). But now
when I try to move files or folders, I either get a
message to "change the permission rights of the folder",
or a message that says "cannot move, one or more
parameter values are not valid". I cannot seem to change
the permission level - a right click and properties does
not show any permission levels. What do I need to do to
be able to move the emails I want to keep and then delete
this old PST?
Oh, I can seem to move files WITHIN this PST, but when I
try to move them to a new PST I get the errors.
Thanks
