I have 2 computers at home.(1 pc and 1 laptop). One runs xp home & the other runs xp professional.
I have a DSL Broadband Router (wire connect). Each computer gets internet access directly from this
router. I have run the network wizard and each computer can see itself on the home network, but th
other computer does not show up in the home window.

Run the Wizard again, and tell it that the computers connect to the
Internet through a "residential gateway" (router). Other connection
options block file and printer sharing.
