We can of course duplicate that thread here :-)
Is there anything in the EventLog on the server?

Hello,

Good to hear from you.

I noticed that you have posted the same question in our newsgroup; please
check my answer to your question, and if you need any further assistance on
this particular issue, please reply to me in that thread so I can follow up

For your convenience, I have included my reply as follows:

Hello,

Good to hear from you.

From your screen shot, it appears that you cannot shut down the win2003
server. I would like to confirm that you logon to the computer locally with
the domain administrator account, is this correct?

According to my experience, this phenomenon could occur if we use
non-administrator account to logon to the DC. Please make sure no other
users logon to the machine and then logon it with your admin account again.
If it is possible, please shut down the machine and then reboot it to check
whether the issue persists.

If the issue persists, please follow the steps below and check the terminal
sessions to the win2k3 server.

1. Logon to another computer in the same site.

2. Use Terminal Services Manager to check the session.
If the computer which you logon is a win2k3 server, you can find Terminal
Services Manager in Administrative Tools.
If the computer is a winXP, please download Adminpack in the following link.

To keep the thread clean, I mainly focus on the logon issue here. Regarding
the issue of Terminal Services for Remote Administration, please open a new
post and we can discuss the issue there.

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to get
in touch!

Have a nice day!
