HELP !

Im running Windows 2000 Professional.

All of a sudden it wont accept my password at log on.

I get the standard 'Cannot log on, make sure
name/password is correct' etc.

I changed it about 3 days ago and had no problems until
today.

When I changed the password I did get another message
saying something like 'Windows could not change passowrd
in something .....', but the log on password did change
OK.

Ive tried changing the Supervisor & User Password in Set
up but this makes no difference !

Please help

Cheers now

You mentioned "supervisor" in the post, so wanted to check if this box was
operating in an NDS or Windows domain, and if you're using the windows or
Novell gina at logon.
Will it accept the "old" pw?
Are you able to use a local admin account to logon to the local machine ok
instead of the domain?
Can you logon to the domain from any other machine with either of the pw's
(new or old).
I assume that when you said you changed it in setup that you meant on a DC
but please verify.
thanks

Log on under "administrator" and use the password you specified
when you first loaded Win2000. Many people use a blank password.
