The only way I can connect to outlook express is via internet explorer. Have
searched and searched and cannot locate the outlook express mail icon in any
of my outlook files.

Hi FranSea,

Create a Desktop shortcut to this file:

%Programfiles%\Outlook Express\msimn.exe

You may then move the shortcut to the Quick Launch area.

Make a shortcut on your desktop and use the following path:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe"

The above assumes a standard installation with C as the system drive.

C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
The above solved the problem. Thank you for responding!

You're welcome!

FYI: This command (for XP SP1 and above) re-creates the OE shortcut automatically in your Start Menu > Programs:

shmgrate.exe OCInstallUserConfigOE
(From Start/Run dialog)

Hi Ramesh!

Hey, we've been getting pretty wet out here the last couple of weeks! Don't
think you folks in India weren't on my mind!:-) Of course in our case, the
deluge was from a California Monsoon as opposed to a tsunami.
