cannot locate cdrom problem

Hope someone can help. when installing some games (mostly new titles) when trying to run the games I get an error message of "cannot locate cdrom please insert correct cdrom and restart application" the original cd is always present
I have a cdrw and dvd rom drive. I have tried installing on both with no joy
Someone help it`s driving me crazy!!!
 
Maybe its because of having 2 cd readers.try to remove one and play the game.
